KINGDOM MANIFESTO #4 | Serving The Needs Of Newborn Saints

In Corinth and Ephesus we see a number of dedicated servants of God who were doing all they could to share all the good God had done for them among those who were new in the faith and to shine the light of the Lord among their neighbors who had not yet come to faith. Paul\’s letters to the Thessalonians were also written during this period and the context helps us understand the encouraging exhortations he gives to be true servants dedicated to Christ alone.

(Acts 18-19, 1 & 2 Thessalonians)

The story and message of the New Testament is a beautiful manifesto composed by the wise and benevolent King Jesus. The N.T. is composed of 27 different books written by various authors about a number of subjects ranging over a period of nearly a century. Putting together the pieces of this literary puzzle can be intimidating at first, but seeing how these divinely inspired documents fit as parts of a cohesive whole helps us understand and appreciate their weight and beauty.
