God expects his people to be givers, sacrificial givers, givers of themselves to him, givers to others in need.
When God sent his prophets to sinful man, he promised wrath for those who continue in rebellion. If we forget the reality that our God is indeed full of wrath against sin, we will be destroyed.
Human beings are dead in sin all the way down to the heart. God\’s solution is to bring life back out of death, to give a new heart.
YHWH is a different sort of God. He cares for those that the rest of the world ignores or abuses. He is the God of Justice.
The letters at the end of the New Testament are difficult to pinpoint within the narrative of the book of Acts but their placement at the end of the Scriptures highlight the challenge of staying true to Jesus the King and they remind us that though the story of those who follow Jesus won\’t always …
